Hello again! It's Raspberry and I have decided to do a sneak peek! I have been pretty busy with some other photo stories so I am going to give you guys this while you wait. It's about 10 pics of Surf's Up Part 1, which I will post as soon as I'm done with some other ones. hope you guys like them! Except I will probably pick up where I left off so I suggest you look at this first! : )
I sit on the shore of the ocean staring out at the deep blue sea water. The small tide laps at my feet making me smile. I close my eyes and listen the roaring of the waves and the crashing of them as the crest crashes into the base. I love it out here, it's beautiful, calm, and it doesn't boss me around like Kate does. Then as if on cue Carly, my younger sister, crawls over ruining the moment.
I look over at her and, not wanting to be bothered, stand up and take off my shorts so I can go into the water.
I leave my shorts on my green towel not bothering to do anything else with them. And grab my board, diving into the water.
Once out I paddle far out from shore and sit on my board waiting for a wave.
Then I see it- a huge wave that, even if I am tall for my age makes me look minuscule. I start to paddle towards it knowing that this the wave I've been waiting for my entire crappy life.
Once out to the wave I paddle as hard as I can and push myself to stand...I did it! I caught the wave! I love it! The spray of the water on my face, the taste of the salt water, the wind whipping my hair away from my face. Most of all I love being free. And I realize then that the only way to do that was to become a pro surfer. And I'm so determined to get away from Kate that nothing is going to stop me, ever.
